Content and Copy Editing
As the Editor-in-Chief, I am responsible for content editing all stories, as well as occasionally copy editing. When I edit I use the suggesting tool so the writer can see the edits I am making and learn. After primary edits are done an editor will read through before publication.

For this story, there was quite a bit of work that needed to be done. Mainly the organization was confusing. I loved the topic and I wanted to make it the main spread, so I worked extensively with the writer and edited it to end up with the published version.
Focusing on Content Editing
In the video above I am content editing after copy edits had already been made. For this story, we will need to go back through it again with both copy and content edits, since it looks like there are some issues with sources and angles.
